Web Site Maintenance is a service that allows adjustment and updates to a web site. Maintenance is an important part of having a website. If your content, offers, etc. don’t change from time to time you may lose your audience or their return to your site. Common examples of web maintenance may include changing text, images, promotions, or advertisements on your site. Search engines are also inspired to return more often to web sites if the content is changed regularly, even if this is just a little. This indicates that it is an active, rather than an abandoned web site. Search engines can tell if your content has changed, and your site can drop in rankings if it goes a long time without any changes being made.
I can take care of this for you if you’d like. Simply send me an e-mail outlining in detail the additions/revisions you require on your site, specifying the page/s you would like revised. Also, attach any necessary files to your email, such as images, text to include/change, etc.
Most updates are completed within 24 hours. Payment will be due prior to work being done.
Basic Web Site Maintenance includes updating links, inserting new links and making minor changes to a sentence or paragraph. It does not include replacing nearly all the text from a page with new text, major page reconstruction, new pages, images, guest books, navigation structure changes, or attempted updates by Client repairs. Basic Web Site Maintenance is charged at an hourly rate of $40.00, billed in 30 minute increments.
